Yes! This is by far the worst reason i heard of, read of, on how a driver fails her driving test! All she did was to drive through a puddle of water. and she fails her test! JUST HER LUCK MAN!! haha..
A Manchester mum failed her driving test after she accidentally splashed a man at a bus stop when she went through a puddle.
Michelle Kelly, 31, was told by the examiner it was technically a crash and she should have exchanged details with the pedestrian.
She told the Daily Mirror: "Apparently it constituted a traffic offence and he was treating it as a road accident.
"It wasn't as if I'd deluged this pedestrian. If I'd swerved to avoid the puddle I might have caused an accident."
She added: "I spoke to a firm of driving instructors with 60 years' experience and they'd never heard of it."
The Highway Code does not mention splashing pedestrians but rule 147 says "be careful of and considerate towards all road users".
Michelle, who has taken her test three times, said she now faces a £100 bill to retake. The Driving Standards Agency said it is investigating. - Ananova
